Prof.Dr. M.J. Kraak (ITC, UU) has become a member of the Netherlands Geodetic Commission on 6 June. Prof. Kraak is professor in Geovisualization at ITC (International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation) and professor in new visualization techniques at the Faculty of Geosciences at the Utrecht University. Currently he is head of ITC's Geo-Information Processing Department.
