Seminar Geo-information and Computational Geometry, 14-11-2005

The Netherlands Geodetic Commission (NCG, part of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences; KNAW) and Geo Information Netherlands (GIN) organize a one day seminar 'Geo-information and Computational Geometry' on 14 November 2005 at Utrecht University, The Netherlands (Blauwe Zaal in the Wentgebouw, known as the 'De Ponskaart').
Thanks to the support of the NCG and GIM the participants do not have to pay any fees. However, participants do have to register.

Prof. Willem Baarda deceased

On January 2 Prof. Willem Baarda (1917 - 2005) has deceased. He was among others honorary member of the Netherlands Geodetic Commission, member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, honorary member of the FIG and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (GB), honorary doctor of the University of Stuttgart and he received the Levallois Medal of the IAG.
